Tests for new comic

Thinking of doing another comic soon based on a series of events that happened to me when I was a teenager. I am considering doing it like Insomnia where all the characters are animals. Reason being that it allows more scope for humour when the subject matter is quite dark, I also think it allows people to put themselves in the place of the main character more easily. But, I am not completely decided so I did some tests with what would be one of the opening scenes. I did the same scene twice – one with dog, one with human. Due to some criticism that the dog in Insomnia was not original enough looking I am playing around with the way in which the dog would be drawn so also see third image which could be used. Lastly I had some space left on the page I was using so I drew this robot boy (last image) which I aim to put in a different story one day.
